Issue: Claw would not close.
Cause: Bad solenoid.
The solenoid has a fan above it that keeps it cool. One of the wires to the fan broke so the solenoid was operating with no cooling. The wire was repaired, but the damage has been done. The solenoid smells physically burnt.
The game DOES send good voltage to the claw/solenoid, it just does not engage. I have also tried sending voltage directly to the solenoid using a external power supply with no luck.
We will need to speak to Shinji-san about getting a replacement solenoid.
